Thanks to Ivy, I just found out that I've been nominated for a pushcart prize, here, at the bottom of the page. It's for a poem that I've actually been struggling to rewrite.

Christine: Rewrite? I felt that "Diary of a Thief" was profound. It had a edge to it, which always gets my attention. I could clearly feel the drama of the forbidden elements as could I partake of the osmosis of becoming one with these literary archives. Then...the final stanza was a total surprise and made the sale. You got me and I'm coming from a male perspective... how much stronger this would be to the female gender I can only imagine. It is hard for me to invision a rewrite necessary, but it you do... I'd love to see it.
Congratulations on the nomination. It is well deserved.

Thanks, Michael. I think my rewrites are turning out to be another poem entirely.

That's wonderful news.

How do you find the time to stay with the writing? You're very prolific!

I find it incredibly difficult to carve out time to edit and submit. The writing usually broadsides me, and I go with it, but the submissions process, that's what I get stuck on.
