Poetry and the literary culture I'm growing in a milk carton

Thanks to Ivy, I just found out that I've been nominated for a pushcart prize, here, at the bottom of the page. It's for a poem that I've actually been struggling to rewrite.
Christine: Rewrite? I felt that "Diary of a Thief" was profound. It had a edge to it, which always gets my attention. I could clearly feel the drama of the forbidden elements as could I partake of the osmosis of becoming one with these literary archives. Then...the final stanza was a total surprise and made the sale. You got me and I'm coming from a male perspective... how much stronger this would be to the female gender I can only imagine. It is hard for me to invision a rewrite necessary, but it you do... I'd love to see it. Congratulations on the nomination. It is well deserved.
How do you find the time to stay with the writing? You're very prolific!
I find it incredibly difficult to carve out time to edit and submit. The writing usually broadsides me, and I go with it, but the submissions process, that's what I get stuck on.
